Breathe Cleaner Air And Reduce Allergies
Indoor air quality can be up to 70% worse than outdoor air quality. Ducts can become a death trap for dust, dirt, mold, pet hair, and other allergens that circulate through your home’s ventilation system. To have optimal air quality, your air ducts need regular and thorough cleaning. To maintain clean air quality and the efficient operation of your RTU’s (Roof Top Units), cleanings should be done every 2 to 4 years or as needed. Factors that influence the frequency of cleanings would include having pets, allergies, asthma, recent construction/remodeling, or outdoor pollutants (such as smoke from nearby fires).
Ruby Mountain HVAC Refrigeration uses a professional top of the line agitation cleaning method, which includes cleaning each vent, return, and all the ductwork with a spinning nylon brush hoses that dislodge debris and simultaneously vacuum it up with a high-powered HEPA vacuum. After which we go back into each vent with a botanical sanitizer, which eliminated odors associated with mold, mildew, and bacterial growth. Lastly each register is vacuumed and wiped clean by hand.

Why Should I Get My Air Ducts Cleaned?
Over time and even after the construction of a new home, dust, pollen, bacteria, spores, mold, and even debris left from construction crews can accumulate within your air ducts.
These foreign objects can negatively affect your HVAC system by impeding air flow, adding strain to your system and ultimately resulting in increased utility costs.
Uncleaned air ducts also allow dust and other particles to continually circulate in the air while accumulating on surfaces throughout your home.
If you find that you need to dust frequently, dirty air ducts might be the culprit. Most importantly, a poorly maintained air system can easily introduce dust and other harmful particles into the same indoor air you and your loved ones are breathing.

Dryer Vent Cleaning
According to the National Fire Protection Association, every year firefighters across the country respond to 13,820 home fires caused by clothes dryers. About 27% of these fires are caused by an accumulation of lint, which can constrict the ductwork that expels hot air outside.
Ruby Mountain HVAC and Refrigeration, provides professional dryer vent cleaning for residential and business properties in the Elko, Nevada area. When your dryer is functioning poorly, it is likely due to a clogged or debris-filled dryer vent line. Lint, debris, and other common sources of dryer vent clogs can not only affect the efficiency of your dryer, but they can also be a serious fire hazard.
Our dryer vent cleaning services remove the fire hazards from your dryer vent line and offer an array of other benefits related to your dryer’s performance. By restoring proper airflow throughout your dryer vent line, you can reduce drying time, increase energy efficiency, and decrease wear on clothing and the dryer itself.
